The U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that the following high-risk groups receive seasonal flu vaccinations regularly and get annual booster shots:

• Pregnant women, including those up to two weeks after childbirth
• Adults aged 65 and older
• Children under 5 years old, especially those under 2 years old
• Individuals with chronic lung diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, or lung disease complications
• Individuals with a history of stroke or neurological disorders

How to Register for Influenza Vaccination at FV Hospital:

• For General Patients - You can register directly at the General Medicine or Paediatrics & Neonatology departments to receive information and consultation on the appropriate vaccine. Afterward, you will complete a vaccination questionnaire, have a consultation with a doctor, finalise payment, and proceed to the vaccination room.
• For Pregnant Women - Pregnant women must obtain approval from an Obstetrician and register at Obstetrics & Gynaecology department.
